Pyrotoad Demo Launch!


PYROTOAD DEMO IS RELEASED!!

I know I've been making games like crazy these past weeks! πŸ˜„

This one is an action puzzle precision platformer I've been working on for about a year with Jonny Manjiro!
Jonny is a Super Mario World ROM Hacker, and NES developer!
I played Jonny's game Pelusa Saga Kaji's Trials on my twitch stream and Jonny popped in and we've been working together since!

In Pyrotoad you play as toad that catches fireflies to shoot fire! πŸ”₯🐸πŸ”₯
Its quite challenging to finish all 35 levels.

The full game is coming to Steam on Nov. 3rd and the Itch release will be around the same time, but not sure of an exact date yet.

There is a web build of the demo you can play from any browser or smart phone!
You can also download the Game Boy Color ROM to play on an emulator or flash cart!
We've also included an Analogue Pocket version, though we have no way to test this, so let us know if it works!
And lastly there is a Windows EXE version we made using Godot Boy. It runs on a built in Emulator called Rust Boy.

For those interested in the production, we used GB Studio to make the game, Jonny handling most of the design and programming.
I used Aseprite, and on a few occasions, Tiled, to make all the art in the game. 
Both Jonny and I made the music using GB Studio's built in tracker.
I made all the sound effects using BFXR.
We had help testing the game from a handful of people and we are very grateful for that help!
